OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus Pad Go 2 on December 17th to refresh its entry-level tablet lineup. Compared to its predecessor, this model is confirmed to feature stylus support and 5G connectivity. A new Geekbench listing has shed light on the OnePlus Pad Go 2’s connectivity and performance capabilities.
A Leap in Stylus and Performance!
Listed on Geekbench with model number OPD2504, the Pad Go 2 achieved a single-core score of 1065 and a multi-core score of 3149. More importantly, the chip powering the tablet has been confirmed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
This chipset not only confirms the anticipated 5G connectivity but also represents a significant performance increase over the MediaTek Helio G99 processor used in the previous Pad Go. Benchmark data also reveals that the device will feature 8GB of RAM and run Android 16 out of the box.
OnePlus also confirmed some key hardware specifications for the tablet:
- Display: 12.1 inches, 2.9K (2800 x 1980) resolution, and a 7:5 aspect ratio.
- Brightness and HDR: The display can reach 900 nits of HBM (High Brightness Mode) brightness and supports Dolby Vision.
- Stylus Support: The compatible stylus is said to offer 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
- Storage/Color: The tablet will be available in Shadow Black and Purple, with a single 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be officially launched alongside the OnePlus 15R on December 17. Tech enthusiasts can attend the offline event in Bengaluru for INR 499. The tablet will also be available in Europe on the same day, along with the phone and the OnePlus Watch Lite.
